Meeting Summary and Transcript

Turn meeting insights into navigable evidence
Questions, Tasks, Metrics, and Date & Time show counts, while sentiment categories offer another way into the conversation. Selecting an option highlights relevant transcript passages, connecting the classification to actual wording. Make extracted insights useful as navigation, not just statistics. Reviewers should be able to inspect the language behind an AI label before accepting its interpretation.

Make AI output easy to use elsewhere
The copy icon beside General Summary, nearby AI Apps control and prominent Share button give the notes several paths forward. Users can carry useful output into another task or continue working with it here. For AI products, generating an answer is only part of the experience. Make copying, sharing and connected actions easy to find where the output appears.

Give condensed notes a route to the source
A note includes a blue “01:05” timestamp, while the adjacent transcript pairs an excerpt with Alex’s name and “04:57.” These references preserve where information came from as the meeting becomes a shorter account. Anchor condensed content to identifiable source locations. Readers need both the convenience of a recap and a practical starting point for checking what was said.

Separate speaking pace from participation
The speaker table shows Alex at 142 WPM and 57% talktime, alongside Sam at 164 WPM and 43%. Separate columns distinguish speaking speed from share of the conversation: the faster speaker accounts for less talktime here. Pair related measures when they answer different questions, and avoid presenting either as a verdict on the quality of someone’s contribution.

Put meeting questions beside the transcript
Transcript and AskFred sit beside each other as tabs within the meeting workspace. One offers the recorded wording; the other lets reviewers ask questions about the conversation when the prepared summary leaves something unanswered. Place contextual assistance where those questions arise, with the source easy to revisit. Asking for an interpretation and inspecting the record should remain connected activities.
